Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical 11 million tons/year refining and high-end synthetic new materials project process screw compressor a successful drive

On December 27, 2024, good news came from the project site, and the first process screw compressor of Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Project with 11 million tons/year refining and high-end synthetic new materials, which was contracted by Kaishan Group Co., Ltd. was successfully started.

The 11 million tons/year refining and high-end synthetic new materials project of Zhenhai Refining and Chemical adopts three sets of Y-line process screw compressors independently developed by Kaishan and with complete intellectual property rights.

This project puts forward high requirements on the quality and energy efficiency of process screw compressors, and the project time is tight and the task is heavy. Among them, the K-203 unit with a single flow rate of 7000Nm³/h took only 175 days from the signing of the contract to the smooth operation of the unit.

Kaishan adopts full skid-mounted modular design, the unit is highly integrated and easy to install on site. The K-203 unit successfully completed the whole process from site installation to successful commissioning in only 40 days. The stable operation of the unit and the efficient opening of the mountain have been recognized and praised by Zhenhai Refinery and Chemical Company.
